Is TCG Card Shop Simulator Multiplayer? No — and the Mod
TCG Card Shop Simulator is single-player only. The official FAQ confirms no multiplayer plans; a community mod adds unofficial co-op.
No. TCG Card Shop Simulator is single-player only. The Steam store tags it as single-player, and the official 1.0 FAQ is explicit: the playable card game added in 1.0 is built for matches against in-game customers, and the developer has said there are no plans for multiplayer in the near future.
What the official FAQ says
The developer answered the multiplayer question directly in the 1.0 FAQ (published 14 September 2026). The playable TCG exists to let you duel the customers in your own shop, not other players. There is no online matchmaking, no co-op management mode and no announced multiplayer roadmap.
The unofficial co-op mod
The closest thing to multiplayer is CardShopCoop, a community-made BepInEx mod. It is open source and lets two or more players share money, experience, collection and customers, using Steam lobbies or a direct connection.
It is unofficial and unsupported. It sits on top of a game that was not built for co-op. The 1.0 update also broke most of the mod scene, so expect to rebuild your list and test carefully. The mods guide covers the install order.
Two other games share the name — they are not this one
“Multiplayer” searches often land on two separate products. Neither is TCG Card Shop Simulator:
- TCG Multiplayer Card Shop Simulator (Steam App 3354260) — a different game.
- Card Shop Simulator Multiplayer (Steam App 3569500) — a different game.
If a result promises “multiplayer” in the title, check the Steam app ID against the one this wiki covers before buying.
